THE XPERIENCE — It starts as a party.

One night in Antwerp. A retro party wired to something that does not stay polite. Arcade cabinets, old music, and a system slowly losing control. Find the codeword. Shut it down. Take half the door.

THE XPERIENCE — EDITION 01: GENESIS

You have reached the front end of a system that should not be public yet.

On Saturday, 31 October 2026, a few hundred people will walk into a room in Antwerp expecting a party. For the first hour, that is exactly what they will get.

After that, we stop making promises.

Something on this site is not decoration. Look properly.

ABOUT

what this is

IT STARTS AS A PARTY

The Xperience is not a festival. It is one night, built like a story, that happens to have a bar in it.

The surface is deliberately old. Arcade cabinets you can actually play. Music that peaked before most of the room was born. Carpet that has seen things.

Everything underneath is not old at all. One app runs your entry, your drinks, your credit and your night. It works perfectly.

It works perfectly for a while.

HOW THE NIGHT MOVES

  • 22:00 — A very good retro party. Nothing else.
  • 23:30 — Things begin happening that nobody announced.
  • 01:00 — The staff stop behaving like staff.
  • 02:30 — Your phone starts disagreeing with you.
  • 03:00 — [REDACTED]

Contains strobe, haze, loud noise and open flame. If you are photosensitive, read the FAQ before buying.

CHALLENGE

one word. one winner.

THE SHUTDOWN

At some point in the night, every phone in the building will stop showing you a party app and start showing you something else.

When that happens, there is exactly one way to end it: a codeword. Type it correctly before anybody else and the night is yours.

THE PRIZE

First correct entry, server timestamp

HOW TO PREPARE

The codeword is not generated on the night. It already exists. Pieces of it are already in public.

  • Everything we publish is a candidate — posters, captions, this website.
  • Not every clue looks like a clue.
  • This terminal has more in it than the menu suggests.

People who start looking in advance will not be competing on equal terms with people who do not.

FAQ

questions

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Is this a real festival or an art thing?

It is a real party with a real bar, real music and real arcade machines. The rest is real too, which is the problem.

Do I need to download an app?

Yes. Entry, drinks and credit all run through it. It is genuinely good. That is what makes the rest work.

Do I need to be technical to win the prize?

No. The codeword is a word, not a hack. Being observant beats being technical.

Is it safe?

Yes. Everything that looks unplanned is planned. There is a large crew, medics on site, and staff who are actually staff regardless of what they are wearing.

I am photosensitive.

There is heavy strobe and flash after midnight, especially in the final hour. Email us before booking and we will walk you through the timings.

What is the age limit?

18+. ID checked at the door, no exceptions.
